Hands down the best chef's menu I've tried lately. It recently got a Michelin guide so I wanted to give a try. I think it should deserve a star!! The French food and the French wine paring is well done. Brian did a good job introducing French and Germany wine to give food even better taste. The food itself is 5 star. Each dish is so pretty to look at and even better to eat. I was told the menu change often. It would be fun to come back to try new menu and bonus dessert.

This was one of the spots my husband and I tried for restaurant week in Sonoma. I was pleased with his choice. Our 3 course menu was a fresh salad with asparagus and light sauce. I ate every fresh bite. The tiny croutons were my favorite. They are hands down the best I've ever had. Our main course was a juicy piece of braised short ribs with peppercorn. Tender fall off the bone. Perfectly seasoned. It was epic. The fries were so yummy! Perfectly crisp just how I like em. So the bread and butter sheesh! I'm obsessed. And for desert we tried both their chocolate ganache opera cake and lemon cream with white chocolate pavlova. This really was the best composed meal in an elegant setting for our restaurant week experience. The service was truly excellent and made our time spent there very intimate and special. We will be coming back again to try the 4 and 7 course dinners. Love it here.

I've been wanting to come for years so we decided to make it happen for restaurant week so we could at least experience all the deliciousness I hear about at a slimmer price tag. I notated in the reservation we were celebrating our anniversary (10 years). I was excited to eat here but also for our celebration. Food was exceptional, we were waited on by the 3 folks of the night, service was lovely as well. We had the restaurant week tasting menu and wine pairing. Absolutely zero complaints about the food or service. Maybe this is my issue more than on the restaurant, but I was disappointed that no one even said Happy Anniversary. I've been to not as expensive of restaurants and notated when we are celebrating something and we at least get a verbal acknowledgment which is lovely. I was sad no one acknowledged it at all. I would have figured at this price point that someone would have at minimum said something, nope. A little sad about that especially since we don't eat out at this level too often, it was a big deal for us. Oh well. I ordered the black cod risotto meal and my partner had the steak frites. Both were unbelievable in execution and balance, my risotto was the most luscious mouth feel I've ever had in a risotto. Silky and simply gorgeous. The short rib was fork tender as it should be and also phenomenal. Even the winter salad was a star of flavors. Beautifully balanced, mixed well which is a huge pet peeve of mine when it is not, not wet but dressed appropriately. I had the pavlova dessert and it was nothing short of sumptuous. Coconut, yuzu, cucumber and white chocolate all dancing together on my tongue. Just divine. Part of me wishes we had just ordered a bottle of wine instead of the pairing because the pours of the pairings were light on effort, if you know what I mean. Maybe that's again my issue, since they tell you it's 2 ounce pours but boy are they strict about it. I don't know, I guess that's my problem again, not the restaurant's. Those two little gripes didn't take away from our experience, we had an amazing meal in the kickoff to our anniversary weekend, but I was left feeling a little sad about those two parts of the experience. Oh well!

Chef Stephane is not only a brilliant and creative chef, but also genuinely kind and cares about the broader community. TCP has become one of my top restaurants in the bay area. The menu changes seasonally, which you would never know because all of the items were the perfect balance of both flavors and textures. My favorites were: - crudo tartlette - beef tartare with sunchoke cappuccino - cocolemon (SO unique felt like I was going on a treasure hunt) I can't wait to come back in the spring and will be recommending TCP to all of my friends and family- it's a small place so make sure to make a reservation in advance!

This place is a gem and would hold its own against the standard-bearers in the city without an issue. The tasting menu was excellent and the ambiance was upscale and intimate without being stuffy. My personal favorite was the beef tartare, which was one of the best things -- period -- that I've tasted in quite some time. The tartare is moist and wrapped around a buttery, flaky ring of a crust, then dipped in a cappuccino (!) sauce that pairs awesomely. Everything was excellent, but other standouts worth mentioning: --The first course, which they dubbed "like a shrimp cocktail," which included a couple pieces of shrimp in a decadent cream-like sauce, some crudo, and tempura-style delicata squash rings. --The beef cheek tortellini, which was paired with a dashi broth whose umami flavor really elevated the dish. --The madai, which was reminiscent of a black cod. Nice crispy skin with flaky, buttery meat. --The wedding cake and the follow-up dessert bites. Dear lord. The wedding cake was a praline (delicious) with a rich caramel sauce and the bites were an array of macarons and small cookies, each incorporating sweet and savory / nutty elements. Highly recommend!

Ugh. I haven't been able to shake this meal experience. Note, we've been to Ken and Omakase in SF recently and while good, they're not lingering the way TCP is. The tasting menu meal was *exceptional*. The wine pairings, perfect. The service, five star lovely. The interior of the restaurant is a combination of subtle minimalist while still cozy and refined. I eat a lot and often leave tasting menu meals hungry. This wasn't true with TCP. We ordered the 7 courses. I was disappointed to see scallops on the menu, not a huge fan. That said, the scallops may have been my favorite part of the meal. All the other plates were also incredible. We're counting down to the next time we have time to stop into TCP. A spot that lives up to "exceptional cuisine worth a special journey, with dishes that are boldly creative and flawlessly executed." Waiting for Michelin to catch on to this special place in wonderful Petaluma. :)

We really enjoyed our dinner here last night. Did the 7 course tasting menu, one of us got the Wagyu beef (instead of duck) and we all got parker rolls. Scallop course was absolute ethereal. My 2nd favorite course was the prosciutto bite, then the yuzu palate cleanser. Absolutely stunning dishes, both visually and tasting. My husband did the wine pairing, and each pour was thoughtfully and beautifully described. Service was friendly, professional and right on point. The setting (we dined inside but there's a patio outside) was small but both refined and efficient. Parking is on street but not an issue if you don't mind walking a half block at most. Very very nice, highly recommend.

Cannot recommend this place enough! Such a lovely environment and wonderful staff. It definitely exceeded all of our expectations on service and food. We came during their social hour menu and ordered almost everything! Some of our favorites were the Farmer's Greens, Tostada, and Steak & Frites. However, everything we ordered was delicious and the quality was amazing. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Will definitely be coming back to try their tasting menu. Please come give this place a try if you're in the area!

Behind a well manicured storefront on Petaluma Blvd, completely lacking in any signage, you'll find one of the best kept secrets in north bay dining. While perhaps difficult to find (if you don't know what you're looking for) Table Culture Provisions serves up a remarkable 4 or 7 course tasting meal in an incredibly comfortable setting, with amazing service. We'll definitely be coming back.
